BBEMA Swamp Milkweed seedling sales – every year BBEMA propagates, grows and sells Swamp Milkweed (grown from naively harvested seed from BBEMA own gardens) to sell to community members looking to enhance Monarch and pollinator habitats across PEI.

All proceeds from this fundraising program go to support BBEMA’s Monarch butterfly conservation efforts across PEI.

Every July (in partnership with the Summerside Lobster Carnival) BBEMA hosts our annual Rubber Ducky Race fundraiser – sending 1000 individually number Rubber Ducks racing down the stream (below the Heritage Ice Pond) to compete to be the first duck to cross that finish line …winning $500.00 for their lucky “adopted” sponsor.

All proceeds from this fundraising event go to support the upkeep and enhancement of the Heritage Ice Pond Nature Park in Summerside.
